Members
We welcome new members - boys or girls - to the Scout Group. The age ranges are:
Beavers - 5¾ to 8
Cubs - 8 to 10½
Scouts - 10½ to 14½.
Unfortunately all three sections are currently oversubscribed, with our numbers running at the maximum that allow us to operate safely. We have waiting lists, though places for our Beavers and Cubs sections are already allocated to those on the waiting list up to October 2019. If you would like to put someone's name down, could you please complete our Membership Registration Form and mail it to admin@58thSouthport-Scouts@org.uk. Going forward, we expect to have very limited space in our Cubs and Scouts sections for children who have not been in Beavers at Holy Family.

Fees
There is no joining fee. All members currently pay £8 per month, which includes 'capitation' - essentially insurance plus a contribution to the running of the Scout Association at District, County and National level. As set out in most recent letter on capitation, if anyone feels unable to pay, please contact one of the leaders or mail the address above. We do not want to turn anybody away in this situation.
It really helps our administration if fees could be paid through the banking system, rather than in cash to the leaders. If you can pay this way, could you please discuss with our Leaders who can either provide you with our account number and sort code (to allow you to set up payments through internet banking) or with a Standing Order Form. Alternatively, please mail admin@58thSouthport-Scouts@org.uk telling us which member(s) this relates to and we will send you these details and the form.
Finally, the Group benefits from the Gift Aid Scheme. If you are a taxapayer, we would be grateful if you could complete and sign our Gift Aid Form and return it to one of the leaders. We will then be able to reclaim the tax on any membership fees you pay.
